Florida gas prices could see a drop in price after a 15-cent increase last week. On Sunday, the state average for regular unleaded gas was $3.48, according to a press release from AAA. However, oil prices are trending downward. The U.S. oil price dropped 13% last week, making it a total loss of 17% in the previous two weeks. On Friday, oil barrels sold for $66.74 per barrel, the lowest since Dec. 2021. There were significant losses in the oil market last week which should enable gas prices to move lower again,' said Mark Jenkins, spokesman, AAA - The Auto Club Group.
